About Powerbang
Powerbang is a life-long gaming enthusiast that got his start all the way back on the Atari, and has found success on nearly every gaming platform released since the 1980s. Also a prominent athlete in his school years, Powerbang shift his focus to esports after an unfortunate elbow injury cut a near-professional baseball career short.
The first esports or major gaming title to win PB's heart was Counter-Strike (1.5 & 1.6) back in the early to mid 2000's. As a member of some of the world's top competitive teams, Powerbang made a name for himself as a top gunner with the AWP. As Counter-Strike transitioned to CS:Source, Powerbang moved to World of Warcraft and found his way to the top of the leaderboards once again becoming a Gladiator in the arena on multiple characters.
Then, MOBILE gaming emerged as a viable option for a quality gaming experience. Because of the flexibility that a mobile device offered, Powerbang was able to continue playing games (whilst maintaining other responsibilities outside the home - i.e. a JOB). In 2015, he launched the Powerbang Gaming YouTube channel. His primary game at the time was Clash of Clans, and he spent his time covering clan wars & high-level strategy. Powerbang is the founder of one of the world's top war clans in 'WHF', who recently qualified for the ESL Finals in New York.
Currently Powerbang is covering PUBG MOBILE, one of the most successful mobile game titles in the world, and he is one of the game's biggest stars. With over 1,000,000 new subscribers in the past 18 months, the Powerbang brand continues to grow. Powerbang helped kick start the PUBG MOBILE competitive scene in its inception by founding the first competitive esports organization 'Lights Out'. Lights Out became one of the most popular teams in the world and had some early triumphs in competitive tournaments.
In summer of 2019, Lights Out was acquired by Omen Elite and Powerbang continued to play an active role in the mobile esports community behind the scenes. In October of 2019, Powerbang joined forces with best friend, fellow content creator, and business partner Clash With Ash (CWA) and they took on roles as Co-Founders and heads of Spacestation Gaming's new mobile division.
As his online presence and stature in the mobile gaming community continues to grow, Powerbang can regularly be found hosting and casting international mobile esports events. With over 25 events under his belt, he is one of the most experienced mobile esports hosts in the world.
As the industry continues to grow, and mobile gaming opportunities arise, expect PB to be leading the charge as one of mobile gaming's thought leaders and most forward-thinking entrepreneurs.
